Bio

Prof. Masuma Merchant is a practising Advocate. She has completed her B. Com LL. B. & holds a Double Master’s Degree in Criminal Law & Criminal Administration and Business Law from the University of Mumbai. She is an Adjunct Faculty at N.L. Dalmia Institute of Management Studies and Research. She has also taught at INS Hamla and NITIE. Prior to teaching Law in Management Institutes, she has been a Visiting Faculty in various Law Colleges and has taught a wide range of legal subjects. She has an industry experience of 13 years and has appeared before various Courts / Tribunals / Consumer Forums / Charity Commissioner, WAKF Board in various cases. She has been in academia for the past 10 years. Her area of expertise being Business Law, International Law & Ethics, Financial Regulations and conducting Moot Courts.
